19 updates to the Current Admin Portal.

Group billing

Account groups can now get one combined bill. This is the first version, and we're still improving the template. It's part of the account groups limited release.

Reorder routes by drag and drop

The new route sequence editor lets you drag locations into the order you want and see the result before you save. You can also move a location to a specific position, the top, or the bottom, which helps on large routes. Techs and auditors don't see the button.

Flag reminders

When you flag an activity, you can now set a reminder date, pick who gets the email, and choose a date to remove the flag. The reminder email includes the flagged activity, the account ID, when the activity was created, and the follow-up date.

Edit or remove a flag from the banner

You can now edit or unflag an account right from the flag banner. You no longer have to scroll through the activity log to find the flag.

Prorated rate structure changes

If a rate changes in the middle of a cycle, the bill can now prorate flat tiered services by the days before and after the change. Other services use the new rate. The rate structure controls whether proration applies.

QR codes on postcard bills

The postcard bill template can now show a QR code under the meter reads.

Finix disputes in payment batches

Finix dispute transactions now show up in your payment batches, so batch totals match your Finix settlements. The disputed amount stays as a credit on the customer's account until you remove it. The dispute fee stays payable.

Smaller bill PDFs

Bill PDFs now store your logo once instead of on every bill. Files are smaller and large cycles finish faster.

Bill template updates

Postcard and blue templates now show N/A when a meter read is missing. The blue template shows N/A when there's no meter ID. On the postcard, amount if late is now 0 when the bill is 0 or a credit.

Pause delinquency from chat

Billing admins can ask the assistant to exempt an account from delinquency until a date. The assistant asks for approval first, and the date must be tomorrow or later in your utility's time zone. The change is recorded in the account's activity.

Update service orders from chat

Ask the assistant to change a service order after you create it. You can update the same fields you can set when you create one.

Meter alerts in the assistant

Ask the assistant for a summary of recent active meter alerts across your utility, all alerts for one account, or an analysis of an account's water use. You can also have it mark alerts as acknowledged.

Turkey loading animation

A Thanksgiving turkey now shows while pages load.

Fixed: editing a meter read reset blank fields

Editing a meter read no longer changes values back to defaults when you leave a field blank.

Fixed: campaigns failing for contacts with partial addresses

A contact with a missing city or state no longer stops a campaign. Before, the campaign could stay In Progress and the missing contact alert didn't show.

Fixed: late notices sent to inactive contacts

Delinquency late notices now go only to active contacts. This covers text, email, voice, and paper notices.

Fixed: meter changeout multiplier applied twice

Completing a meter changeout no longer applies the meter multiplier twice to the final reading on the old meter. Billing wasn't affected.

Fewer billing cycle timeouts

Starting a billing cycle now makes fewer database requests, so large cycles are less likely to time out.

Better phone number checks for text messages

Phone numbers are now checked and formatted before a text is sent. Numbers that are invalid or have opted out are handled without errors.
